Political Movements should be more comunitarian

So I was ranting (accurately) about the failure of various political groups to educate the general public regarding their own symbols (as well as the general public's overall unwillingness to learn new things about history) and it occurred to me that a lot of these political groups should present themselves as communitarian service organizations.

It is, after all, easier to sell the ethics of your Pro-Life ideals to people if your organization really is made up of people that have adopted children, especially those with special needs.  Your Pro-Life organization is definitely a positive group rather than a negative organization if they raise money for crisis pregnancy centers, etc.

People will support your crusade to eliminate government programs if they believe there exists an infrastructure, a system, and a group of people extant for the purposes of caring, loving, and and supporting those otherwise dependent on a government program.
