a Violent Foreign Policy is Sometimes Defensible

There is an aspect of Libertarian Dogma that I must disagree with. This is the notion that if only the United States refused to get involved with the struggles of other nations, then, other nations would leave us alone.

This policy did not work for numerous cultures thoughout history. Recently, it didn't work for the Poles, Belgians, Dutch, Danish, Norwegians, Greeks, Algerians, Egyptians, Indochinese, Chinese, Monogolians, Phillipinos, Indonesians, Albanians, South Vietnamese, South Koreans, Tibeteans, Indians, Kuwaitis, Iranians...I could go on, but what's the point? Dogmatists pay little attention to history.

Surely, there is little value in spending blood and treasure in every little war that comes up. But, anyone interested in living in freedom must understand that sometimes we must fight. That sucks, but if you want to be FREE you must fight those that would take that from you.
