two weblogs to track I have no idea who Conrad Black is but I know about Mark Steyn, so the treat is this ongoing on MacLeans with Mark Steyn writing about the Conrad Black trial. My good friend James Gilchrist is currently creating more articles for his ongoing web project, the World Health Library. He actually is an accredited human source of knowledge for this subject. a rich man's haircut - John Edwards spends $400 Rather the Presidential candidate's campaign spends (that) much money on his hair, not to mention "Edwards' campaign also spent money at two spas: Designworks Salon in Dubuque, and Pink Sapphire in Manchester." The man calls himself a champion of the people and declares the less fortunate to be victims of a so-called second America but I tell you that I am ten times the populist he is and I am not populist. I tell you the truth that I spent $8.99 with a coupon for my last haircut and the former Senator excretes 44.49 times that amount for his trim. If the trips to Torrenueva Hair Designs and the two spas are on the campaign's budget it means he is spending his donor's gifts on vanity treatments. Yes: this triggers flashbacks to President Clinton getting a $200 haircut. Labels: politics Saturday, April 14, 2007
I will not get into a political debate an actual one, where my opponent is using Eleanor Clift-style arguments. If my opponent is using arguments such as Ms. Clift would use, then I will not debate him or her, anymore than I would debate Ms. Clift. I would fake it. James Kirk versus the Gorn Excerpted from the Star Trek episode "Arena". The best summary I can give is that the Gorn cannot move very fast and Captain Kirk cannot hit very hard. This is all comparatively speaking of course. It's referred to as "the Worst Fight Scene Ever". That cannot possible be true.
