I Almost Feel Stupid For This... For the whole week, and especially for the past three days I thought Father's Day was tomorrow, June 12th. Intead it is indeed Sunday, June June 19th. I am not to blame for this ignorance. I don't have a father anymore and have not had one for eight years, going on nine. My need to know status terminated quite awhile ago. I don't feel stupid. Steven Seagal is................what?!?!?! It's been said that most good Steven Seagal films, with exception, have titles that fit right in as the end of the sentence "Steven Seagal is". Right now Fox is broadcasting a Seagal movie and they won't tell what Steaven Seagal. This is an annoying tendency with network television movies. I came into the film in the middle. I actually came into the movie about twenty minutes after the start and while the little logo in the corner of the screen tells me from now until commercials that the station is Fox, they never tell me the name of the film. I had to log onto the internet and go to the Fox website to find out that I'm watching Exit Wounds. The saying doesn't always apply. Steven Seagal is not Exit Wounds but he wasn't "Under Siege 2: Dark Territory" either. An old UHF syndicated flick will often inform you what you are watching upon commercial break. Fox will stop to tell me that due to "violent content, parental discretion is advised." They will tell me that parental discretion is advised but not for what film it is advised for. Just assuming that the POTUS did manufacture the truth, i.e. lie, to create a war, it still doesn't follow to anyone with an actual moral compass that that is comparable to genocide. |
